All the operations are carried out by Mr Swinn. The Consultant Anaesthetist is Dr David Burwell and the Scrub Nurse is Sister Jane Baldwin. If sperm retrieval is required then an embryologist also attends theatre. Patients meet the embryologist on the morning of surgery (or earlier if required) in order to consent for sperm retrieval and cryopreservation (freezing). Staff Nurse Katie Baxendale is the urology nurse specialist who will look after you on the ward.
